Room Rate: $188 (plus tax) per night

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the hotel for arrival on Monday, December 10, 2007, and departure on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Be sure to indicate that you are requesting a room for the Gastrointestinal Microbiota and Advances in Prebiotics and Probiotics Research when making your reservations to receive the reduced rate. The room block will be in effect at the reduced rate until Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Any room reservations received after that date will be accepted on a space- and rate-availability basis. Please note that reservations must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date, or you will be charged for 1 night's room and tax. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

METRO INFORMATION

The Metro system is clean, reliable, and safe. It operates from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Monday through Thursday;
5:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Fridays; 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Saturdays; and 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on Sundays. Each passenger must purchase a farecard to travel in the system. Guides for purchasing farecards are posted on the vending machines in each station. Each Metro car features a complete color-coded map of the system. From Union Station or Downtown Washington to the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Executive Meeting Center (main Metro lines into the city converge at Metro Center Station and Gallery Place Station), take the Metro Red Line toward Shady Grove (make sure the train says "Shady Grove"). Exit at the Twinbrook Metro Station using the Rockville Pike and Halpine Road exit. Walk a short distance on Halpine Road and bear left on Rockville Pike. The hotel is approximately 1 block on the left.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Executive Meeting Center, proceed to the Metro terminal. Take the Yellow Line toward Washington. Exit at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Transfer to the Red Line that goes toward Shady Grove. Exit at the Twinbrook Metro Station using the Rockville Pike and Halpine Road exit. Walk a short distance on Halpine Road and bear left on Rockville Pike. The hotel is approximately 1 block on the left.

DIRECTIONS

From the North and East
Take I-95 South to I-495 (Capital Beltway) West toward Silver Spring. Take Exit 34 (Wisconsin Avenue/Route 355). Follow Route 355 North for approximately 3 to 4 miles, and the hotel will be on the right, after the Rollins Avenue/Twinbrook Parkway intersection.

From the North and West
Take I-270 South to I-495 (Capital Beltway) East toward Washington, DC. Stay in the local lanes and take Exit 4 (Montrose Road East). Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). Proceed on Rockville Pike through four traffic lights, and the hotel will be on the right, after the Rollins Avenue/Twinbrook Parkway intersection.

From the South
Take I-95 North to I-495 (Capital Beltway) North/East toward Tysons Corner/Rockville. Follow I-495 North for 20 miles. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay to the left to get to I-270 North toward Frederick, and take Exit 4A (Montrose Road East). Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). Proceed on Rockville Pike through four traffic lights, and the hotel will be on the right, after the Rollins Avenue/Twinbrook Parkway intersection.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Take the George Washington Parkway to I-495 North (Capital Beltway) and follow the signs to Maryland. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay to the left to get to I-270 North toward Frederick, and take Exit 4A (Montrose Road East). Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Take the Dulles Access Road (Route 267) East approximately 13 miles. Move to the right on the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) and take Exit 18, I-495 North (Capital Beltway). Stay to the left on the ramp for Bethesda/Baltimore, and proceed toward Bethesda on I-495 for approximately 9 miles. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay to the left to get to I-270 North toward Frederick, and take Exit 4A (Montrose Road East). Proceed approximately 2 to 3 miles, and turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355 North). From Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
