ABSTRACT INFORMATION
Please note: The deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended to September 15, 2006.
Investigators who attend the 2006 NIDDK Symposium: Frontiers in Painful Bladder Syndrome and Interstitial Cystitis are encouraged to submit abstracts of their research activities. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The accepted abstracts will be presented at a poster session Thursday, October 26. The judges will also select the top abstracts, which will be presented as 5-minute podium presentations on Friday, October 27. The presenters of the top abstracts will receive travel awards to supplement their attendance at the Symposium.
Please follow the instructions below to submit an abstract for consideration:
- The deadline for submission is September 1, 2006.
- Please send the abstract via email to Ms. Tricia Wallich at twallich@scgcorp.com with "Frontiers Abstract" in the subject line. Attach the abstract as a MS Word document, and make any relevant comments in the text of the email.
- The abstract title should be typed in bold font, Title Case Letters.
- List the names, degrees and institutional affiliations of all authors, and italicize the name of the presenting author.
- The body of the abstract should be 600 words or less and divided into sections: Introduction and Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Please list the source(s) of funding at the end of the abstract.
Poster Presentations
Posters do not need to be elaborate. Poster boards, (4 feet high by 6 feet wide), pushpins and Velcro will be provided on site. Sponsorship of any type should be indicated on poster.
